Welcome Spring!
Although the snow banks in the parking lot are still covering many parking spaces, spring is definitely in the air. We are enjoying the days of lengthening light and the promise of warmer days to come. There have been a few staffing changes at the Walpole Area VNA. Shelly Thoms is our new Nursing Supervisor. she comes to us by way of Montana, North Dakota and the Norwell VNA. We are in the process of hiring additional nurses while others have increased their hours. We have also hired a part time community liaison to help us promote and positive relationships with physicians, community groups and various referral sources.
We are, officially, in our 100th year anniversary and are making plans to celebrate within the agency and broader community.
